All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries. Can you recommend good mods for single player Realism improvement to units, more maps, better game mechanics, etc.I have read the info about the mods but I only tried the camera tweak, i want to play the game without mods first (game is already great as it is, i loved first part also).
Try to search geocities.jp Gameplay Mods for Blitzkrieg 2, the first result in geocities.jp has a lot of mods and even mappacks for single player. When you click to download a mod or a mappack it will open a japanese page, and to download the file, click the button with the blue arrow pointing to down (it is in the same row with another button with two green arrows (recycling-refreshing symbol). Both pages are safe, I checked, there is no spam and no pop-ups). Here a list of the mods that look interesting (the ones i downloaded): Total War 0.2 Mod: New textures, realistic armour values, more realistic artillery, decreased tank rotation. Realism Mod 0.1: Camera changes, increased vision range, vehicles armour, weapon, velocity updated to realistic values, reduction in rotation speed, double infantry hitpoints. MPRM Mod 1.0: Multiplayer reinforcements multi-type, similar atmosphere to Blitzkrieg I. Tactics Mod v1.1: Multiplayer, control individual nations (Japan, Great Britain, USA.), units. Unit View Mods: Removes health bars and green circles when units are selected. External to this page you can find Extreme Camera Mod (it gives a lot of freedom to the camera). The page is in spanish, just find the blue word DOWNLOAD at the end of the post. After test those mods, I realized that they are in some very early development. Realism mod and Total War mod, add some realistic values (armour, cannon rotations, etc), but also can add some not predicted side effects (like Total War changes some of the Encyclopedia descriptions to german language) Later, the user Legatus Judicum, has suggested me 3 mods. Here you have the links: For single player: For multiplayer: For multiplayer. But the game (at least for me) it does not recognizes the mods (i tried in all possible paths recommended in internet:). Then i found a solution: 1. ![]() Then extract all the files, following the default directories order. Then copy those directories inside folde Data in the game. Start the game, the mod will be activated, but not visible in Load Mod option. Enjoy game. Thats wrong. ![]() If there is a GameRoot.xdb file every mod will be recognized. Your procedure may work for single player one time, but will break the game completly when it comes to multiplayer action. I noticed later than GameRoot.xdb is necessary for mod recognition. Blitzkrieg 2 Multiplayer How To Backup AndAlso if a not experienced player could follow those steps the game could become unplayable if some mods are overwritten, especially online, if those players dont know how to backup and restore modifications.
